Veteran NJ English teacher for more than 20 years, with degrees from Columbia University and the New School in NYC, Maura has made a defining mark in public education. She has taught 6th grade Language Arts at CMS in Stirling since 2001.

     In Daydream, she plays herself... an eccentric and quirky teacher whose lessons are humorous, but also profound. She attempts to get through to Nick, despite his resistance. As the story progresses, a bond forms between the two of them.

     Maura has recently finished her final year teaching her LAL class and is currently transitioning to becoming a librarian. In addition to Daydream, she is also the creator of the educational series "Writing Rules" as well as a published author and poet.
